By the sound of it there will be no Bambo or Woodrow just gets better.

Anderson not a competitive centre back at this level and at this stage in his career.
    Cavare badly missed.
Sibbick - long way short of being a proper right back - so put him at CB given the only other option is Halmer.
There's no easy to solutions - this is a team that would not get out of League One, let alone to stay in a division higher.
Too many good players gone. Club's choice. This is the result.

Sibbick too lightweight at CB. We'll have to go with Halme. Moore didn't play for Wigan on Saturday, but if he is in he'll make mincemeat of Sibbick. Hope we have someone in the academy who can sit on the bench.

If so, I hope he misses a load of sitters. He hasn't done anything for them up to now, but ....

That is a relief. I'm not sure losing him has been our problem. The head injury & his want to leave are my reasons for me not being that bothered at the time & the fee. Main problem is Schmidt doesn't seem to be ready & sod's law we have lost Woodrow. Our only proven goalscorer. We could win at Wigan, but at the moment I'm not sure how. Seems to me DS has to gamble on starting him, as Thiam isn't the answer. He is a 20 mins super sub, not a starter. I'm finding it hard to see what team we can play there, but DS has a week to work it out.

Don’t seem to get all this crap about bringing Schmit up to speed of how we play
or the championship. Most of our players have never played in this league so this
is a poor excuse, and don’t get me on about Bahre. If I read someone saying that
there is a player in there somewhere well I don’t know, the lad is nowhere near being
a championship player.I have never seen a player play as many bad or astray passes
as him and he is the captain,Mowett is the only decent midfielder we have roll on Dougall
    getting his fitness back.

The good news is that it's an away game but not an evening one. We have won some of those under Daniel. Been having a nosey on the Wigan board and they're not happy bunnies They had high hopes of maybe play offs but not looking that way now.

For me Cavare needs to start. He causes big problems for teams who hate
his pace and physicality. And then the quick passing football that they used against Fulham. We need to be much higher up the pitch too.

We need to train hard in a positive manner and go into the game believing we can win. And I think Daniel is the coach to get spirits back up.

It ll be interesting to see the matchday recap cos the players looked decidedly nervous before Birmingham. I've a feeling they might have looked the same yesterday. Only Wilks looked like he was enjoying the match. Losing like winning can become a habit

If Stendel continues to play Bahre week in week out I’ll start to lose a bit of respect for him.
He’s offering nothing at all, it’s like playing with 10 men every week. His passing yesterday was hopeless. I’d rather see Styles in there.

Why do people always include blondie in next week’s teams every week? Personally I hope he’s wandering round Asda on Saturday afternoon

    4x2 4x2 4x2 4x2 4x2 4x2 4x2 across the goal then 11 players in front that should tighten it up a bit
