Would there be any scope here for doing a 2 for 1 offer

Reds fans buying a Leeds ticket at £36 get a ticket for a cat c (next home game?) for free or a nominal charge of £4 making £20 each game.

Would that get around EFL rules?

Offers have now got to be either given to away fans as well or the visiting club have to agree to it only being offered to home fans.

Under the Regulations should any Club wish to offer promotions or discounts for a specific fixture they must either (a) offer the discount or special promotion on a similar basis to visiting supporters or (b) seek the permission of the visiting club to run the promotion for home fans only. In the instance that an agreement cannot be reached it should be reported to the League for consideration. There are no Local Promotions permitted under the Regulation as per previous seasons; any deviation away from the pricing plan submitted at the beginning of the season must adhere to the conditions mentioned above.

I agree with the clubs stance on this - try and agree reciprocal pricing but where the other club won’t play ball, we have to charge similar to what we pay at their ground. Income is vital

Cool, seems fair, that’s fine however let’s offer Leeds fans a free ticket too for our next home match!

It's something I used to get wound up about, but I'm just resigned to the fact now that I don't get to see the big derbies any more. My September game will just have to be Brentford instead.

That doesn't make any sense at all. If income is Vital why would it matter what they charge us?

Charging home fans 36 isn’t morally right but fans do have the option to buy memberships or season tickets etc to get cheaper tickets.

Charging away fans who don’t have this option whatsoever 36 quid is disgusting!!! That goes for any club. I slagged Wednesday off for it and I will slag our club for it too. It’s wrong and the league need to do something sharpish.
