    Horrible news, but it sounds like they caught it early which gives hope.

    I wonder if it’s related to his iron deficiency?

    Met him quite a bit when he first signed for us, and he's a very decent man. Always did his bit for the community at Barnsley and I wish him well.

    a close relative diagnosed with cancer said that the thing that annoyed her most were people telling her to 'fight it' or to 'beat it.'

    I think that all we can do is empathise with him and wish him and his family all good wishes.
