    Evening, daughter has a Toshiba laptop and the cursor has vanished from the screen, am presuming she’s pressed somet but can I hell as get it back on!! Any help would be welcomed

    therell be an option to disable the touch pad - plug a mouse in and it'll be easy to sort.

    If so I think it may down to Power Management on your mouse pad, you'll have to find it in Device manager, double click on it and it should bring a box up, click on the tab Power Management & uncheck the box that says allow this computer to turn off this device to save power.

    That may be the problem but not sure.

    Just asked my daughter, who has a Toshiba laptop.
    Shift and F5 should make it work.
    Apparently that turns your mousey type thingy on and off and she could have accidentally turned it off.
