And the fact that someone posted above how it works and I tell you that it used to be my job to train people and you still believe you’re right?

You tell me people are entitled to JSA and I tell you that it’s now UC and the rules are different. And you still believe you know more than me.

We did eventually change the rules for benefit.
Whether it was considered worth it for JSA I can’t say what drove us not to change it.
But with the implementation of UC we did make it tighter.

EU-8 users of FoM on average contribute about £1.2 for every £1 a native Brit contributes
EU-27 users of FoM contribute £1.08 for every £1 that a native Brit contributes
RoW migrants contribute £0.8 for every £1 that a native Brit contributes

*All* First-generation migrants are significantly less likely to commit crime than a 2nd-generation migrants
Second-generation migrants are significantly less likely to commit crime than a 3rd-generation or native inhabitant (3rd generation and natives are roughly equally in terms of criminality)

Donny, Scoff, I'm surprised you haven't realised by now that Trixie gives no credence to actual facts and first-hand testimony. It just holds no sway whatsoever. The world is ruled by hearsay and sh.itrag opinion pieces, it seems...

These Brexit threads are becoming an easy option for people to dish out abuse. Trixie is being hammered from all angles here. He isn't the anti-Christ ffs. He just shares different views on how the U.K should move forward.

It’s not ‘views’ anyone objects to.
It’s the use of ‘alternative facts’.
If someone says ‘there’s too many immigrants’, that’s a view they’re entitled to, I’d disagree but they’re entitled to that opinion.
But if someone says ‘there’s too many immigrants because they can come over here and claim benefit’, that’s factually incorrect and should be challenged as such.

I saw this about the BBC, but it fits here (paraphrasing):

"If someone says its sunny, and someone else says its raining, then look out of the window and see which one is actually right".

And when do tell have I said that. Again, I object to uncontrolled immigration, we cannot fully control immigration because eu citizens have the right to come here for work, this then entitles them to access our benefits system, nhs, education system etc etc. Extra burden that we can’t control because we don't have full control of immigration. We’re going around in circles donny because you skirt around the basic principles of freedom of movement. But as usual you’re right and I’m wrong. I never voted for our country to be a star on a flag, if We dont like the government of the day we can vote them out. We cant with the eu until now. Stop putting words in my mouth, I’m not anti immigrant I’m anti control by the eu. Thanks.

This announcement reminds me of the kind of ridiculous ideas that Trump spouts.

You think that's bad- wait until operation black swan is released / leaked.

Oh, and I heard the other day that since the referendum, the uk has lost more through businesses leaving and currency falling in value than we've paid to be members of the EU. Ever.

Think he's right SD ... right of the top of my head I can think of far worse scenarios than they are giving.
Sorry, but again factually incorrect ...
you can vote out your mep
EU Council of ministers is made up of ministers from each member country - appointed by each country - you have no control on that, but likewise you have no control over who is foreign secretary here
EU commission made up of 28 commissioners each one appointed by their member state.

We can vote out an MEP for an alternative MEP. We cant leave the eu just because we haven't voted in a MEP. Were it that simple :)
