    This whole mess can be laid at his door, he called a vote with no plan for remain. He allowed Johnson and company to blatantly lie without serious challenge, and when he lost he scuttled off like a frightened rabbit, he waits 3 years, and only now when it is far too late he condemns them, a pathetic fool.

    I thought he left after the Brexit vote he was on the remain side and decided he couldnt lead us out?

    But worst of all, he called the referendum simply to heal deep seated rifts in the Conservative party. Now he appears to say there was a demand for it from the public. Typical Tory.. no shame.
    And just why anybody gives any credence to anything he says or does after the shitstorm he caused and then walked, is totally beyond comprehension.

    One of the only reasons he got in power I thought was because the Tories were the only party offering the public a vote on brexit.

    Even after the country delivered a massive protest vote with the numbers that voted for UKIP, he and all the other parties played the ostrich and were arrogant enough to think they had their cults to heel.

    If you wanted remain you dislike him a he arrogantly risked everyone's future to try and satisfy his own position and his own party. Now he sits on his inherited fortune whilst we all worry about what comes after brexit.

    If you wanted to leave you dislike him cos the reason you can't have your brexit is because Cameron set the referendum up as an advisory referendum so even if, and indeed when, you won, it didn't mean it would happen as no adequate legislative backing was given to the referendum result.

    Either way whatever your view Cameron let you down with his arrogant approach. And like the banker's he will never suffer for what he imposed on the masses
