But like I say we are not good enough on won’t be with this current squad. I keep saying it and results will not come. The effort is there. But their isn’t 1 team in the league who will finish below us let alone 3 in my opinion. Although the linesmen helped them of course. As for the Leeds fans in the east stand. Awaaay to f.... fair play to the lad who pasted him over the seats XD. Also sibbick was immense also Halme had a good game too. Anderson not my cuppa tea but each to people’s own

Oh and to say the was 4 and a half thousand of them they were very quiet besides the goal. Plus the 227k outside the well

It's the same as last time we were here. There's effort in buckets, but we don't finish our chances and then decide not to mark up at the other end. It's getting tiresome already.

We won't play Leeds every week. They are a decent team. We were two individual errors away from a hard earned point.

Aye I know. It’s like watching Livingston v an old firm team over again. Efforts there but no where near on power

We’ve given two of the top teams a game up to now .
We were error strewn at Wendy and didn’t turn up at Brum and First half Luton.
We were unlucky at Wigan not to take all points imo without being at our best .
To say we not good enough is wrong I think we’re bottom half Championship at the moment but I think we've enough to stay up this season , I think they’ll be at least four teams below us come end of season then we can hopefully build on it .

We can’t defend or score though? 1 goal this season is an achievement with our current squad though!

I think we are a long way from being good enough to compete in this league. Today was like a lower league team v a championship in the cup. We are toothless up front and have a mistake in us at the back. Keeping us up would be almost miraculous but we live in hope.

Why do you keep saying it? The transfer window is shut, there is nothing we can do. There are thousands of Barnsley fans who thought the squad was light in a number of areas when that transfer window closed, but there's no point repeating that over and over as there's nothing anyone can do at this stage.
We've had some poor performances this season and I see nothing wrong with giving an honest assessment when we are poor. Today we weren't. Effort was accompanied by some good play. It didn't quite go for us but the signs were much more encouraging than they have previously been. You do the players who gave their all today a disservice by not acknowledging that.

Yeah, when you give 100%/everything and still lose, then were do you go.? Teams that win when they're 5hite are up at the top normally.. When playing your best and still losing isn't where you want to be..

The voice of doom strikes again.
I so hope you are wrong. There’s realism and then there’s pessimism

A good indicator as to where we are might be to compare today's game with the Leeds match at Oakwell two seasons ago. Today's performance was far, far better than the miserable display we saw that day. After that performance, I had very little hope that we had it in us to significantly improve. After today's game, I'm far more optimistic. I think we'll end up being quite difficult to score against once everyone has settled in. It's just a case of whether we'll score enough to keep our heads above water, So far, it's looking as if it'll be touch and go, but in football things can change quickly. If someone like Wilks or Woodrow goes on a little scoring streak, the picture will start looking very different.

Any chance that given that current squad can't be changed for at least 3.5 months you could give it a rest till then?

We wouldn't score in a brothel. Just like the Wigan game we had the best of the chances but don't know how to shoot. Some of the decision making is unacceptable. We don't have a championship level full back on either flank and are light up front.

Not doom at all had a lovely day out but can see the extreme limitations of the team and the poor hand we have dealt a good manager. It’a not a great league this year that gives us hope.
