They showed several replays on the telly, and at least from that vantage point it wasn't even clear whether any contact was made. I appreciate that from the East Stand it might have looked very different.

Ask yourself if a penalty would have been given at the other end....

    Case closed.

Looked a penno from where I sit in Ponty. He seemed to not know that the forward was there, looked to clear it and takes the lad as he nipped in.

After seeing several replays don’t how the ref can play on then give a penalty after his assistant gave nothing no penalty for me would we have been given it in the situation I don’t think so

The Ref had no idea and looked at linesman. The linesman had no idea either
Therefore in all fairness he should have waved play on.
Pity Var is not in play.
I think a draw would have been a fair result
The lads played quite well against Leeds who are a good team.
If we play like that all season and if we can improve our understanding the I think we will be ok

The BBC table hasn’t properly updated. We have a goal difference of -7 (the same as Wigan), but they’ve scored more goals so are above us on goals scored.

We should have been given 2 pens today just on corners alone.

It looked very soft to me. The ref seemed to agree for about five seconds.

Am I the only one who noticed the punch by Alioski on Jacob Brown at 0-0? Definite red card.

Looked a clear pen to me in the east stand I’ll have to watch it again to be sure.

I thought we’d got away with it for a second or two.

Just seen it on SSN - it did look a pen unfortunately.

I did too, thought he kicked him. But haven't seen the replays so could easily be wrong.

Said straight away it was a pen. Was surprised it took so long to be given. Looked rather clumsy, but not seen a replay yet.

Honestly it looked like a pen to me too and thought we had got away with it. The galling thing again is that we had legitimate appeals for pens that once again just get overlooked. Wilks got dragged to the floor on one corner, and Halme got a tug on another that stopped him connecting properly.

Not seen a replay of the penalty or the foul leading up to the 1st goal - so ... live (from the east stand upper - family stand), it looked like their player was going down before Thiam touched him & not a penalty- obviously I’ll soon have the clear vision of hindsight
Just to add, I don’t think we’d have been awarded the foul or the penalty

When I saw it live from East Stand Upper, it didn’t look like a pen. Plus he took an age to give it. Would never be given at the other end...

Just watched it on calendar. Thought it was an appalling decision at the game. Nowts changed my mind. The ref looked for backups from the linesman. Nowt forthcoming but still gave it. “Twit”or should that be a change of vowel.

Didn’t think it was a pen at the game.

Just seen it on the news and I can’t believe that was given as a penalty. Ridiculous decision
