derby fans and club a disgrace

    Absolutely delighted we denied them a win.
    Disgraceful to let those two play. What was it? “Help their rehabilitation “? They are not ill, they are two overpaid prima donnas who think they are above the law. They could have killed someone, they have probably ended a team mate's career.
    Yet they punish them with a place in the squad, and their fans sing their names.
    The same fans who ironically cheered and chanted at their own keeper.
    Not to mention their cringeworthy Wednesday imitation.
    Chuffed to bits they didn’t win.

    I think you misheard then, their fans booed the **** out of Lawrence and they did the same to Bennett when his name was announced.

    It’s crass but I guess they haven’t been charged as yet, so to put some context is it any different to us cheering Wilkes ? His crime if proven would be as bad if not worse

    Of course Derby were going to play them. They have to pay them their inflated wages either way, so aren't going to weaken their own team by keeping them out. Now if they aren't sold in January fair enough their morals as a club should be questioned.

    As for their fans they seem to condone drink driving just because Bennett is "one of their own".

    They clapped in the 20th min so big respect for that.

    But how they treat their own keeper was ridiculous really. Made him feel really small not a football fan treating your players like that.

    Their version of the Wednesday bouncing song is cringeworthy... it isn't even the right tune!
    Every club copies songs from the few clubs who churn out decent original songs but Derby seem to specialise in adapting opponents chants.
