No offence to Worsbrough Bridge but you might have thought, under the present circumstances, the Club might have other things to highlight.
I very much doubt any of the staff at the club were involved in putting out that statement. The media/pr people don't write press releases like that especially for someone they like and respect and many will be as upset and angry as we are. Someone at the top has written that statement and then demanded it is put out. Presumably still angry from the press conference on Saturday or whatever was said in the meeting with Daniel. As such, they can only follow instructions from above and unfortunately it will be very much business as usual.
Stop having a go at the media people. They are doing their job. Do you expect them down tools and do doing?
I agree. My post was aimed at ‘the top’. The Media team will do as they are told or they are out. That’s how the Club works.
Just a hunch, but I'd imagine there might be a few club emoloyees considering walking away if they're treated as Daniel has been.
