Be like a advent calendar, open a door with a ex reds photo to reveal a word ,makes a 25 word statement this time
Don't think it's a case of "showing them" just people fed up and not wanting to part with money anymore.
People won't. But that's the whole "don't like it don't come anymore" attitude. It's not exactly a good policy for a business with a very limited amount of potential consumers is it.
I live in Ireland so, no. If I was still able to get to them then, at present, I would. The cancellation of ifollow is a small way of signalling my disapproval of the appallingly amateurish and offhand way the board have treated the fanbase. And I'm probably perceived on here as one of the confirmed happy clappers.
I guess I'm a bit fickle and would change my mind. It's not the results that annoy me though really. I've been disparaging in the past of posters on here who demand to know all the details of the running of the club. At times it would be stupid for the board to divulge some of the stuff folk think they have a right to know. I'm this instance though I'm pretty disgusted. Sacking the manager is a major event for any club and its fans and the board have treated the fans with contempt in the way they've handled this. The continuing silence makes it worse. Even if they had good reason for doing it and even if those reasons are sensitive they should have done far, far more in reassuring the fan base. At the moment they appear either incompetent in the way they've let this situation get away from them or totally uninterested in the supporters. As I say, I live abroad but I usually try to get over two or three times a season. As it stands I won't be making that effort given all the current circumstances. It might be a drop in the ocean but it's all I can do to register my disapproval.
