    I’d rather they just said why and move on than try to appease.
    It’s not realistic to go back so put the issue to bed and move on.
    Yes if they said they sacked because.... there would be a lot of criticism from some but I think they’d also earn some respect back for being honest.

    I think one of the hiring criteria will be whether the incoming manager will take a contract that is terminable without notice at 16:45 on the last day of the season
