I certainly won't fall for it. There's nothing they could say now that could change my view. And there's loads who think like you and me. Sadly.

 

Hes barely been here two minutes! Isnt this situation why they get paid mega bucks, so they can present the boards viewpoint and keep things running smoothly. So far he seems to have done a grand total of zero since his appointment!

Again our new CEO seems to be another disaster on the face of it from our new owners judging by the lack of anything. Seems to be a pattern this......

 

As you will probably know - owners and CEOs never really go on holiday - they stay in touch with proceedings at work everyday - whether that’s through emails or phone calls.

It seems we have a CEO that is as uninterested in the supporters as what Ganaye was.
But - as I’ve said in the passed - we have been spoilt because we have had a brilliant communicator in Ben Mansford.
Don’t take my word for that - ask reporters at Radio Sheffield, Yorkshire Post etc.
Leeds United also saw it - and offered him a huge wage increase to entice him to Elland Road.

Us at Barnsley are being completely let down by lack lustre CEOs - that would rather pick a rattle snake up than pick the phone up to journalists.

 

You’ve seriously got to knock off this weird attitude that because you support the board you and they are somehow more intelligent or mature.
Neither stance has any bearing on any of that and it makes you look really daft.

 

I think hes been told what and what not to say Helen. At the moment silence is golden as what ever they say we slam down.
Very awkward times for the suits but they have brought it all on themselves by disrespecting the loyal fan base.
I just hope this isnt another fans v doyle thing, it could all turn much nastier....one thing despite the gulf in class at least the boys will put another shift in on the pitch.

Maybe there is/was stuff goign on behind the scenes leading to the removal of Stendel
Maybe there is a good reason why the statement was as it was
Maybe there is a good reason why they have made no further comment
Seems a lot of folk are jumping to conclusions and attacking one party without them being able to put their side forwards
I know the whole situation is a bit crap and could have been handled better but until things are sorted out it may be wise to not jump to conclusions and let people get on with whatever is happening
I am sure the board woudlnt want to do bad things to the club on purpose - they are investors at the end of the day. You don't drive the value of your own investments down if you can help it.

The same will probably happen but in reverse now Daniel is no longer here to defend himself. Things will be " leaked" to try to tarnish his reputation. But the time to come out with it was when he was sacked and the board got it badly wrong.

 

You're right. It's not like they have the media begging them asking for an explanation, the supporters trust begging for an explanation, former players criticising their pack of information, fans criticising their lack of information and begging for an explanation. And it's not as though they have a website which has thousands of visitors, a twitter account. Facebook account, Instagram account, YouTube account, periscope account, BBS account, follow service, local radio or local newspapers available to pit their side of the story forward via.

You're right, they've had absolutely no opportunity to do so. It was silly of us to think they had.
