Sunderland boss according to the BBC, I thought Stendel was nailed on.

I think it's a disaster. I don't mind Parkinson, did a very good job at Bolton after doing really well at Bradford, but he's renowned for playing bad football and that's one thing Sunderland fans are sick to death of. They were crying out for someone like Stendel who the fans could get behind, it's got Grayson written all over it for me.

Stendel turned it down. As did Ainsworth, Cook and Robins.

    According to journalist reports anyway.

Probably came a bit too soon for Daniel and they have a lot of the same problems as us.

If that’s true, it speaks volumes about what’s going on at the club.
All of them should have been able to look at moving to that club as an opportunity.

How do mate, I still visit here quite bit to see how you are all getting on but rarely post until recently.

He isn't who I wanted but I dare say we didn't have a huge queue of applicants. There's some uncertainty for anyone taking this job as there are still rumours of new investment or a complete takeover whistling around.

I'm not excited at the appointment and am not convinced he will take us up but he's our man now so will obviously back him to the hilt.

Our large lunatic fringe are up in arms, which is to be expected, and I just hope in the real world outside of social media he greats a fair break.

Many wanted Ross gone and a change, he's had some success elsewhere so hoping he is a good fit for us.

Nice one mate. Yeah I saw you posted recently after Stendel left and he would have been a great fit for you I'm sure. I really thought he would go to you after recent reports and I would have been gutted personally. But that's football. All the best for rest of the season pal

Ebola football. The Marras will have turned on him by the middle of November.

He'll probably take them up in the end, but it'll be fugly.

Yeah Stendel was rumoured to have been interviewed so haven't a clue what he didn't get the gig and I'm pretty gutted he didn't. Time will tell if it was a good move.

Good luck for the rest of the season, hope you manage to turn things around.

I'm thinking Sunderland has similar problems to us and maybe he felt it was too soon..
