Asking for a friend! As my friend has grown older, he's developed sleep lines on his forehead. They run diagonally upwards from roughly the centre of each eyebrow, outwards towards his temples. Apparently they're caused by him sleeping on his side too much. One of them has got so bad that he was recently asked in a pub if he'd been attacked by someone with a samurai sword. There's loads of stuff on the internet about them, but the best advice seems to be "sleep on your back". Just how useless can advice get? Has anyone on here had any experience with sleep lines, and how to get rid of them and/or avoid them coming back? Please help me to help my friend.....
Carry a samurai sword.... nobody will comment again ;-) Age and experience... lets not focus on the downsides ;-)
Your friend should ask his wife to iron his forehead for approximately 30 seconds each morning. On a low setting. Also, on the off-chance that your friend's wife's first language might not be English, please take care that the words forehead and foreskin are not muddled in translation.
I have a friend who HAD the same problem. He changed from linen bedding to silk and satin sheets (black) - spent a lot of time doing er self-massage to er produce collagen - slept on his back and most importantly of all massaged Oil of Ulay twice daily into existing sleep lines. p.s. perhaps your friend would like to meet my friend?
First of all your friend needs to start sleeping with his head at the foot of the bed. Assuming that friend is facing the same way but now leaning on the other side, lines should start to form on the other side of the face, with the ultimate completion of the look.
Suggest to your friend that he needs to stop sleeping in pubs. Realise he has form Those slatted table tops really don't help
I've ordered a silk pillow case. I'll try it myself first, if it works I'll tell my friend about it. I'll leave the massaging bit to someone else.....
excellent - looks like there's a 'happy ending' on the way ( -- a dab of oil of Ulay can go a long way!) and your friend can live happily wrinkle free ever after.....
Tell your friend to rub olive oil and finely ground sea salt on the lines. Within a minute or so the lines will be both oily and salty.
