Ill back a player who regardless of talent who gives his all for the shirt. What i wont back is someone who didnt break a sweat.
I just think hes another trying to find his feet in this division. One thing you cant ever say (,imho) is we dont work hard or try.
We need to have a bit of patience, let him settle in and get some confidence then start judging him. Look how long it took Mcgehgan and Mowatt to settle in.
He's had three months of meaningful football to settle in. He's not had to move abroad or learn a new language. He should be doing far better than he has been and our league position doesn't allow for yet more patience.
He’s been in and out of the side and played different positions. He was class for Donny last season playing on the right all season cutting infield. We’ve hardly played him there yet I really don’t know what folk expect. Sign a player and play him in a different role to what made him such a player last season 30 goals and assists. I’ll judge him on a run of games playing in his best position. Bit like subbick getting moved around like a chess piece lb/rb/cd/cm players get to their best playing week in week out in the same position I just hope we can form a settled side soon to get the best out of our players.
I don’t mind Wilks - and he has pace to burn. Just needs a run. However, last night he looked slow - and it also looked like he’d bulked out a bit? I’m sure he was leaner at the start of the season? Bulked = muscles not fat BTW.
Where’s that from? It’s 8 starts. 5 subs. He missed the Swansea game through suspension and we’ve only played 14 so far this season.
Beg your pardon, followed the wrong row across, it is 8 starts and 5 as sub. So still a regular and not the bit part player that seems to be being alleged.
Has looked good in spells but last night he didn’t look interested, let players run past him without challenging or tracking them
