All agent had to do if he thinks there’s an interested club is get information to said club what the price is in clause then if they offer the amount in the clause the players allowed to talk and no one can stop him . If they offer lower the club can refuse , that’s my understanding anyway .
Very good Don’t agree with the sentiment though but then I never thought we’d go down last time . Ever the optimist always the victim.
I look at it like this Kieffer Moore hasn't scored for Wigan. Davies isn't playing for Stoke. Lindsay isn't breaking any pots either. Pinnock has been in and out of the side at Brentford. Form counts for alot too. If they'd been playing here they might have struggled here too. We're where we are this season because we're conceding more than we're scoring. The performances haven't been bad it's been the defending including some air brained overplaying at times and some woeful final passes and finishing that have cost us.
I don't get this Zonal marking. However, I think the defensive problems are caused further up the pitch. The other night when Diaby eventually got caught in possession he had plenty of options to either play it to Mcgeehan or back to Anderson or Collins. This lead to the spell of pressure that lead to the corner that he scored the own goal. The way that goal came about reminded me of Mcgeehan over playing and dropping Anderson in it away at Birmingham. We lack composure on the ball and play it too quickly like it is a hot coal when it's in the middle of the park. There is only Mowatt that takes responsibility to put a foot on the ball. That's costing us dearly this season. Dougall is a massive boost for the harrying and tackling in there but he can only chase his tail for so long. Mowatt has eventually to gamble by going forward for one two's like he did against Brentford but is being sold out by players such as Wilks and Chaplin who simply aren't at his level. The same applies to Woodrow. He'd be close to double figures already had Chaplin and Wilks got a footballing brain. I don't think it's all down to experience. Surely Cavare knows when he's gone too far forward or Chaplin knows when he's got Woodrow clear.
That’s correct, but usually in the scenario of Zaha, the manager says give me one more season and we’ll let you go. Someone like Zaha would create an auction and the likely hood is the price would go up. I was saying someone like Moore probably wouldn’t create an auction so let’s say the club puts a value of £2 million on him, a club like Wigan naught be tempted to offer 1.5, the club can refuse but then also have pressure from player saying they promised etc.
I wouldn't I'd take every penny. I'm selling raffle tickets. What's the prize? A washing machine. Oh I'll take twelve. But we haven't got a washing machine. He isn't going to win then.
If zaha has a transfer fee in his contract then there’ll be no auction as all clubs have to do is match that price . It is then up to Zaha to decide which club he goes for . If a club offers more than another it makes no difference once the price is matched as Zaha could pick the lowest bid as long as it matches his clause do clubs won’t bid higher if a clause is inserted just offer the best deal to the player .
If it's solely an entertainment event it doesn't matter what division we play in as long as the football is attractive and we're winning. It isn't solely that though and a fair few would rather we won by whatever means and their measurement of enjoyment is our league status.
Bang on. They nearly all want to leave. Woodrow signed a new deal in the summer, if anyone honestly thinks he wouldn’t have pushed for a move if clubs were offering the kind of wage rises Moore, Pinnock & Lindsay got they’re kidding themselves. Up to us to only sell when it suits us best
Tell that to Vaz Te, Mcindoe etc.. we have to sell when the money is on the table when the player wants to leave. Greedy ******** those three, don't understand why the club takes all the **** when the players should, glad to see Moore hasn't hit a barn door, Lindsay is fecking terrible and Pinnock sits on the bench.
In certain cases we have to sell. I’ve no issue with it when a players in the last year of their deal & refusing to sign a new contract. I’m thinking Moore & Potts for example with 2+ years on their deals. Why should the players take the stick when we’ve sold the move to them on the basis that we’ll sell them on if they do well?
We have sold the move to them?? Really, did you read about the club begging Moore to stay and offering Pinnock the highest salary the club has ever paid? Seriously, you need to question why these players are so quick to want to leave the club and why their agents are touting them around at the earliest opportunity.
