I'm back in my flat overlooking Meanwood Ridge. Fireworks going off in the distance. After a great promotion season, this sums up tonight for me.
I think to be fair a lot of folks did not do it deliberately. Was a big silence before the last post, that a lot thought was the silence period. Nice tune though.
Much more my type of music than my original post. (My best mate was their drum tech for a bit & I saw them a few times at this point & they were pretty good). The resignation in both songs sums it up well. I think a few times in my lifetime we had a chance, this time we have sold it for a cheap cash in. Superb. Pretty much sums up where we are going as a club. Take me to the River. We are ****** & sold out. Where is Paul Conway? Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.
Good point, I'm just saying it wasn't that deliberate. Most minute silences are after he referee's whistle. It was a mistake. Being a Barnsley fan I saw 4 other mistakes today, which were not deliberate, but all 5 were regrettable. I think the fans that shouted were trying to get behind our struggling side, but picked a bad moment. It killed the atmosphere after that, as they had got it wrong. Another mistake, in a season of absolute disaster.
Will Young... nah. Met the bloke once when I was in London, around the time of his audition. He'd never heard of the Clash or the Smiths. Good luck to him, but not a fan myself. Each to their own.
