Is doing a protest/walkout at the next home game a good idea

I was thinking the same. The pressure on owners is self inflicted and will continue to pressure them. Fans comments, banners and protests won’t dent their ‘enthusiasm’

Of course we are feeling the pain too

That’s right, just sit back and watch them implode.

    Totally right.
We, the fans, the returning customers, are their most saleable asset.
To see people stay away, protest, not renew etc., is the equivelant of allowing your most valued player to run down his contract.
You see, if they do market the club, it is us, the fans and our goodwill, that they are actually selling.

At this point it achieved nothing as nothing can change before Jan and only serves to not support the players who need it.
A rally/gathering outside the ground before a game maybe a boycott of the club shop and amenities maybe, but not anything that reduces support of the team.

If we don’t see a positive reaction from the board in Jan however I probably would change my mind.

Re the protest I agree. Standing outside shouting expletives with a lot of young uns joining in cos it's fun. Doesn't hold as much weight ( was the only avenue in the day.) as this and other media avenues feeds far better through to the club . So you've already got your protests in place. People not renewing for whatever reason. Family, travel and disolutionment.

but if nobody goes do we end up like Bury, i dont think the genuine fans want that to happen, we have to put pressure on them to at least meet the fans or give some answers

You might not do, but if they walk away there may not be a BFC.... What if they just sell all the assets and cease trading? That would make a tidy profit for the asset strippers.

As someone has alluded to, we’re no Nice. There aren’t any big investors wanting in. And as we’ve seen before, the fans can’t afford it either.

Worrying times, but maybe we need to ride this rollercoaster a little longer to see where it’s going...

Me too mate. My support of the team and the players override my emotions. Those that call the team a bunch of no hopers don't do any service whatsoever. I agree I think some can't or won't cut the mustard in this division. But I believe we have more quality at the club than people choose to point out.

I’ve already started my protest by not going yesterday, Meadowhall or decorating on a Saturday never seemed so appealing.
January will be pivotal if nothing changes I won’t renew my season ticket.
When we were relegated last time we kept roughly the same crowds, won’t happen next season 7000 will be a good crowd

There can be a walkout without necessarily leaving the ground. We could decamp onto the concourses for a while and then return. It's forced to be mentioned by the media outlets covering the game and get some publicity for our grievances.

I'm giving Boro away a miss. Midweek away games are the first to be axed from my plans, unless really close by. That's not a protest, that's me looking after my own pockets rather than someone else's.

If enough people commit to staying away from a home game, then count me in, but make sure it's one where we're not expecting many away supporters, so the drop in attendance is noticeable.

I always felt for Blackpool fans when they were staying away, because on the field they weren't doing too badly. In our case, staying away from watching a team that doesn't win is no hardship.

Problem for me is, I don't think our owners undertstand any of it. They probably thought they'd mastered football last season.

As long as they're prepared to keep silent, many fans won't feel bad about staying away.

If our owners admit defeat in their strategy of having no loaness(brave decision?), Longer term contracts for nearly all the players bought in, so far, It does indeed look grim. They need to man up in January and look at what Charlton did in the summer.

Held on to their main striker and have three Premiership loanee signings.

Sorry to inform the board but some of our League one an two signings were in those leagues for a reason. They may improve over time but they need EXPERIENCED(does that mean I'm sacked?) Championship players with them. (or even Carlisle's back four, We couldn't get past them in the Carabao cup)

Afraid I'm losing faith as well.

Maybe everyone over the age of 25 should refuse to attend , or walk out. That would leave the owners with the age group they want, but they'd quickly realise that there would be a load of unsupervised youths running around not knowing what to do. It would be just like watching Barnsley.

    I won't be there. I don't think they will give a **** what happens.

The ball is in their court & it has been for far too long.

I can't see they have made us a marketable club, so I'm ready for relegation now, with them at the helm. I've never watched soap operas, but we seem to be living one out.

A real shame & pity after last season, but it is what it is, C'est la vie.

I'm not expecting anything but you never know. Maybe the board will spend enough to get us some quality. They probably won't but they can't until then anyway.

Perhaps a better way would be to miss the first 21 minutes and then all walk in?
