...for Labour I feel, now that Farage's lot are only contesting Labour Seats.

I have the same feeling I had after about 8 minutes of Barnsley V Stoke.

Or will they still spilt the Tory opposition enough to offset the disillusioned labour leave voters?

    What do we all think?

No surprise there. Probably had a deal to this effect with Johnson before he even called the election

It certainly shows the hand of the chancers running that **** show.
Declaring they’ll run in every seat, begging the Tories to enter a pact then capitulating as soon as the reality bites.

but it won’t stop some believing that they’re the people to trust negotiating trade deals with world powers. The world has truly gone mad.

These Labour seats he's contesting are Conservative targets so he's in effect splitting the Leave vote in these constituencies, unless his decision is matched by a Conservative decision not to oppose Brexit Party candidates in those seats.

Thought they'd just withdrawn from 317 Conservative held seats. Might backfire in some of the marginals where the Tories only just lost. They need some of those if they are to get an overall majority and two Brexit parties could split the vote.

It seems a pretty poorly thought out way of having a hard Brexit alliance.

I've not heard anything from the tories yet to suggest this is a two way thing. I'd expect the tories will try and make it seem like a soft endorsement rather than a strong pact.

I wouldn't be surprised if it generally strips numbers from BxP and tory party in some seats. I don't think people naturally put BxP and Con together, thought they absolutely should.

I don't think its hugely helpful if you are pro EU, but I'm not sure its a huge negative either on face value.

I did think a pact would be done though, the moment Farage said he wouldn't stand.... that opened the way for a peerage

Exactly. And also not standing in the 20+ seats that were Tory in 2017, but the sitting MP left or was kicked out of the Tory party since...

I don't understand his reasoning. Farage wants us to leave without a deal and has
been very critical of the deal negotiated by Johnson re- maintaining it's not true Brexit.

If by putting Brexit candidates up in seats held only by Labour, he believes will deliver a Tory
majority, then surely with the latter saying they will never form a pact with Farage & Co, if
they get their majority, Farage will be complicit in delivering the Brexit deal he claims to detest.!

The above post shows the extent that people have lost their minds. Somehow these people have become convinced that ‘the eu’ is the only reason anything is going wrong in the country and it trumps all other political issues.
Can bet when it’s a disaster, the country is on its arse and the NHS is sold off they’ll blame something else that isn’t themselves.
Very scary to see the effects of propaganda first hand. Not sure where it ends either.

    Clearly a two way vote
now, be like the second referendum that some wanted.
Easy on. Vote one way to come out and the other to stay in..

Its nothing like a referendum. Nor are the two options as you outline. Vote blue, get self serving megalomania and unprecedented lies. And probably get a pretty hard Brexit, but that's not guaranteed necessarily. Or vote red and get a renegotiated deal (supposedly) and allegedly a referendum, with the leader not letting us know what they support.

As a pro European, neither of those options are desirable and certainly not something I would vote for.

I don't think it matters to a good deal of people. I'd love to know truthfully the number of people who read a full manifesto of at least the party they end up choosing, let alone the options they are considering.

Its a populist, "like" filled, voxpop throwaway society. Its little wonder there are people who treat an electoral vote the same way as they do a TV programme vote.

Have you got actual proof the NHS is going to be 'sold off' or are you just specualting based on soundbites you seen/heard in the media?

Every GE the NHS ia a political football. X months to save it. Stop it being sold off to investors etc.

And yet very little of that has actually happened.

Agreed - Labour deserve to get massacred in this election - chose JC to lead the party then compounded the error by showing complete contempt for the majority of their supporters in the north by blocking brexit at every available opportunity -probably the biggest two acts of self harm in Labour party history

Trump has insisted it be put on the table before trade negotiations.
