Bottom of league, 'The plan' hindering purchase but never sale of players, tough fixture list between now and Christmas, fans disallusioned with board, players losing confidense - why wouldn't anyone want the job of head coach? Nevermind the same board that appointed Morais and sacked Daniel Stendel are working on it. Would love an a point mentioned like Warnock, Pulis or Holloway but not a chance. I have a feeling Murray will being given the job cos nobody of note wants it. Hope I am wrong but no candidates seem to want it. Nowt against Murray but feel the bloke may have no choice in the matter.
There will always be someone for who Barnsley represents a big step-up the career ladder. Not necessarily anyone good...
Don't think it matters who takes it if these Muppets don't accept they got in wrong and adjust the transfer policy
Yes and that's the worry. The players need someone with some experience who they can learn from and help restore their confidence which I suspect must be rather low at the moment.
Just some decent championship quality players will do. No matter how old. The ones we have arent very good.
It's a 'win-win' situation for someone, or you could look at it as a 'free hit' because they will get a contract, and will be paid regardless. Everyone in football will be aware of how things roll at BFC, so expectation will be low.
I wonder if a player head/coach role might interest someone. ( notice not player manager). If that did happen would the man chosen be eligible to play for us this season. Thinking of Allan Clarke type appointment . ......but stop !Can't see this board being so far sighted.
murray sounded fed up after the match. Almost sounded like he was asking the board to appoint someone else
The name Neil Redfearn seems to be coming to the fore again. Hope it's not true. Hate it if Redders failed and did anything to de-value his reputation as one of the all time true legends of BFC.
I think we should all put a fiver on her at the bookies see if we can make her favourite for the job.
