Apologies for the source. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...ngus-MacDonald.html?ito=amp_twitter_share-top
Why apologise for the source? I think the main concern is that Angus returns to health. The rest is just ********.
I don't think there's anything narrow minded about electing not to read a publication that continually publishes lies.
Agree fully with the postings of DUE and ST above. The main concern is Gus's overall well being. I would have thought that the medical he underwent should have involved blood tests. If that was the case, if at that time he still had an iron deficiency, that surely would have been revealed. I obviously don't know the law in this matter, but I would think that if the iron deficiency had cleared up at the time of his switch, Hull could struggle to avoid paying the final instalment to us. We will just have to wait and see of course, but by taking it to court our owners must think they have a good chance of winning.
I get The Spectator but The Daily Mail is pretty scummy, I for one appreciate the comment actually. Anyway getting back to the actual main point of the posting (weird I know) Hull can get in the Sea!
Another scumbag club trying to exploit a player’s misfortune to weasel their way out of paying a debt.
That's disgusting if true. Presumably iron deficiencies can be due to a lot of things so in itself wouldnt have meant they wouldnt have signed him if they knew?
With Heckingbottom speaking about it in press conferences just a couple of months prior I don’t see how they can play the ‘we didn’t know’ card. The money will surely eventually get paid
Just saw this on Twitter. It’s in the Daily Mail so probably has some factual “inaccuracies” The priority is all wrong. Surely the news story is that a 27 year old footballer has cancer The poor guy does seem to have more than his fair share of health problems I hope he can make a fast and full recovery. Regarding the non payment at face value that looks all wrong but before I jump in I’d really like to know the full story. I’ve seen how newspapers can distort the truth and present what appears to be a clear case of wrongdoing but they have been selective in how it’s presented and knowing the full facts can give a totally different view. At this stage we have no idea if Hull are really in the wrong. They could well be but equally there could be something in the contract we don’t know about
Add to that after he signed for Hull, he said they tested him as part of his medical and his Iron levels were ‘sky high’ . You would have thought given his history that would have flagged up concerns as one minute a club(Barnsley) are saying too low the next too high(Hull).
