Heard that he’s said he wants to finish his career with us , but won’t be a option with our crazy youth policy
I remember he used to to get dogs abuse Hourhaine everyone hated him then he scored that 94th minuter against blunts and never looked back. Just got better and better. Best midfielder we had since hignett....
Don't see why Smith doesn't start him more. A great player and I'm glad hes got his chance to play in the Premiership.
Such a shame we didnt get top dollar for him, i appreciate our hands were tied somewhat with the contract situation
It's interesting that smith is playing him much further forward, to great effect. He's playing further forward than Grealish at times.
When he was guest commentator for us a few weeks ago, he explained that is the correct way it should be pronounced.
Heard Connor on 5 live earlier in the season givin the commentators lessons on how to pronounce his name https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.balls.ie/amp/football/conor-hourihane-name-415146 might do our heads in but, we was wrong!
A million? Really? "The win was as deserved for Villa as it was encouraging after a run of three defeats. Conor Hourihane, signed for Villa by Bruce three years ago and reintroduced by Smith to the starting lineup after being omitted for the past three matches, opened the scoring in the 32nd minute before setting up Anwar El Ghazi for the second goal four minutes later. “For £1m he’s not too bad,” said Bruce wryly of the Irish midfielder."
