recently noticed they are showing some Premiership games live, I watched the Merseyside derby last night, and wiull be watching the Blunts vs Toon tonight, they have some more on the wek end and also 26th/27th. Its free if you have Prime (as I do) cannot find if they have an allocation each month though.
It's just for the month of December I think. Settled down with my curry and lager to watch Sheff United. There were too many games to watch last night though.
How much is Amazon Prime, mate? I can't quite bring myself to pay a sports subscription when the only team I really care about is Barnsley. Plus my local's only £2.40/pint and show all live matches anyway. But I would be tempted by this if it's cheap enough.
well its not just the football, they include quite a few box sets, and it also gets you free delivery on lots of items when you make an order with them, the cost is about £70:00 for the year. which overall IMHO is reasonable.
You can sign up on a months free trial and cancel during the month so you never get charged. It's coverage has been praised for things Sky and BT don't do like giving you the option to have match stats on screen like in play betting websites show. You can also mute commentary to watch with just the crowd noise. They just need to sort out the usual stream issues of buffering and being well behind live coverage.
Sod your Amazon Prime I'm more interested in £2.40a pint. Where would this be. I'm £3.50 a pint in my local.
Whilst they don’t pay their fair share of tax, I have to agree some of their tv content is brilliant. Hate myself already for saying it!!
Ardsley at Barnsley, Ian. But the £1.10/pint saving would be far outweighed by your £300 taxi ride home, unless you were planning a PROPER session with me. Plus, No Tennants Super Strength of Buckfast.
Probably, though it's no coincidence they have chosen December. People sign up for the free trial and perhaps do a bit of shopping. Some continue with the membership.
I had to watch in my phone, on the prime video app on my smart tv it had no “watch now” carousel scroll bar which was on the phone app. tried for ages but couldn’t get the tv working
Put it on Android box. It was same but updated app and it worked. Smart tv app probably needs updating somehow
I've just signed up again. Not for the football but for the other TV stuff, free delivery and all the other stuff that comes with it. The free delivery alone makes it cost effective for me. Last time I had it I used Kodi but this time I think I'm going to get a Firestick.
Another nail in the death of football I think, football spread across all these broadcasting companies is a disgrace. It’s only the football fan who goes to the games that suffer. Yet more kick off times sold off to the highest bidder, 7:30 kick offs and 8:15 kick offs, how can the attending fan plan ahead for these. I fear in a few years time the Saturday kick offs of 3 o’clock won’t be a thing anymore. A large percentage of premier league games are already played away from 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Shame.
