    Good luck to Daniel. I will watch his progress with great interest. Not sure yet if Dale Tonge and Chris ‘get in’ Stern will joining him. Hope so.

    I now have my Scottish Premiership team to support. Daniel's too good a manager not to have another crack at the championship but I couldn't have stood for him to have been directly against us this season.

    I wasn't making the trip down to Oakwell this weekend so I've just bought a couple of tickets to see Hearts v St Johnstone. Hopefully a winning start for Daniel and a decent afternoon out.

    I follow Celtic as my second team so always keep an eye on Scottish football. It looks like now I'm a follower of Hearts too. I'll definitely be up Tynecastle for a game during Daniel's tenure.

    Don't know if you are planning to stay overnight or for the weekend ARC. If you have any spare time, a conducted
    bus tour of the City is well worth it. We found it really fascinating. Also popping into the pubs along the Royal Mile
    is a good experience. We were made most welcome wherever we went. Very warm hospitable people.
    Enjoy the game. Hope Daniel gets off to a winning start with the Jambos.

    Thanks Donny Red, I actually live up here now. I agree they are a friendly bunch. A great city with all the benefits of a capital without a lot of the issues that go with big cities.

    A few of my pals are Jambos and have been asking me about Daniel. I really do hope he makes a success of it as he comes across as a good guy.
