As I've said before I've never seen or heard a single person being anti-Semitic. So why are so many politicians, seemingly from all parties, apparently anti semetic?
There must be a reason your bringing it up, why is it if its not a prominent issue? Personally its another point that parties can use to score off each other. Also the Palestinian issue and its support seems to be tagged as Anti semiotic. Why do you think its an issue?
I'm bringing it up because I've just seen that three Tory candidates are being investigated for it. I don't know why it's an issue that seems almost solely to exist with politicians, that's why I asked the question. I can't answer the question that I asked otherwise I wouldn't have asked it
If you look at the report on labours anti semitism that was released a few days ago it gives specific examples. Like you say it’s never been something I’ve come across in life but then again I’m not aware of a huge Jewish population in Barnsley
Bernie Sanders would have been smeared as an anti Semite if it wasn't for the fact that he's Jewish . But he does get smeared as a racist and sexist . I mean , you could nt make it up sometimes unless of course it is made up . Russia hysteria doing the rounds within French politics at the moment too . It's the same old tricks no matter where you live .
The BBC had it as their headline again the other day, for absolutely no reason whatsoever. No-one had said anything new. The press are determined to keep the story alive.
Today, the Sun had a major story today about a hard-left network featuring Corbyn and others based on the "shadowy figures" behind the scenes - which is an anti-Semitic trope about Jews (and more recently Soros) and a common far-right conspiracy theory. The Sun is also leading a campaign against Anti-Semitism in the Labour Party. The story was withdrawn this afternoon from the online site, but not before it has already had chance to be seen by the public.
I'm a Labour Party member and I honestly wondered where all this anti semitism is. Then I did a bit of research and this is what I found. "In February and July 2019, Labour issued information on investigations into complaints of antisemitism against individuals, with around 350 members resigning, being expelled or receiving formal warnings, equating to around 0.08% of the membership" Now forgive me but 0.08% is eight hundredths of 1%. That is a clear answer to why I haven't come across it. The allegations against the whole of the party are politically motivated as the Chief Rabbis attack on Corbyn was. The same Chief Rabbi who is a personal friend of Boris Johnson and a Tory.
No media mention of who attended the unveiling of a statue to Lady Astor in Plymouth last week one of the biggest anti semites and pro Nazi MP’s of her time , even the Chief Rabbi didn’t mention it
This x 100. This is why you know the entire anti-semitism smear against Corbyn is ********. If all these celebrities & media pushing the labour anti-semitism story actually cared about anti-semitism they would’ve been all over the Lady Astor story but they don’t because they couldn’t care less about anti-semitism they just care about smearing Jeremy Corbyn. He’s been an MP for over 30 years & is been accused of racism yet no one can find a single thing he’s said that abuses Jewish people. Yet Johnson’s been an MP a lot less than that & you can find countless videos, newspaper articles & even a book that he’s wrote that show examples of his racism & homophobia
She referred to mine workers as little earth worms and wondered why they let them come to the surface .
I live in Luciana Berger's ward and never heard a single comment about Jewish population. Ironically it must be that bad they have a Jewish school here and a large Jewish population
