All this Stendel/Conway stuff...

    It's a red herring of a story to me. In the big scheme of things it's not important. It only has any significance if it has bearing on the way the club is doing, particularly on the pitch. Stendel has gone. He's not coming back. The board are here and will probably stay if they are making money. The issue may seem unsavoury in the short term and there may be a case to say one side is taking the moral high ground and one isn't. I'm not interested. It's happened. Move on. The long term health of the football club is what is important for the community and speculation and finger pointing about past events, apart from giving us something to pass the time with, serves no ultimate purpose.
    I'm no big fan of the board as I've stated previously but as I say, on this issue I don't think there's any need to get worked up.
    I suspect some people will use my post to further their arguments for or against Stendel/Conway but I'll stick by what I've just posted.

    Two sides to every argument and people both parties put their case in a positive spin- nothing new there then is there.? Time now to move on and support the present team and management team. D Stendel has gone , Gerhard Struber has the task of trying to keep the team in the championship and that is the short term goal. C O Y Reds!

    The Stendel situation is a symptom of our organisational dysfunction, not a cause. It betokens a deeper malaise because the modus operandi of the Board is working against our success, and cheating the fans who have paid good money to see good football and a team and club that is making progress. Thise who tritely call for people to "get behind the team/club" are overlooking that it's organisational arrangements are currently very wrong, and not worthy of the fans' loyal support.

    I get behind the lads every game and have got behind Grrr but I cant get behind the board or refuse to be quiet abart anything they do of which I don`t approve.

    Sorry if yer dunt like it, but thats the way it is.
