Only 40% of the vote....I expected a cut back majority but I'm really surprised he's dropped that low.
Thank goodness. Although out of all the Labour candidates who will lose their seats tonight he'd be high up on my list just for putting all his eggs into the Yorkshire Mayor basket.
If Brexit and Tories had combined they would arguably both have lost. This is the country we now live in.
Same here. I’ve never been represented by a Tory before. Oh well, at least we’ve got our football club to console us....
I live in Rother Valley constituency & am represented now by a Tory who lives in Ealing! I’m beyond being in despair for myself, my family & the country
I’m one for positives and I’ve found a major one. Barnsley is still red no matter what. We haven’t stooped with the right wing media and right wing facists. Barnsley won’t be part of the blame for the fall of our country. We’ve stood by our eu migrants even though we did vote out we still voted a party what made them feel welcome. Proud red but let’s kick some blue arse tomorrow
I have no sympathy for Labour but I must admit I felt sorry for Caroline Flint last night in her interview with the BBC. She held no punches about the Labour leadership
At 06:00 hours this morning I joined the resistance. Let's hold their feet to the fire. I'm that confident Boris will **** this up, for every promise broken I'm gonna put £50 in jar, by April I'm sure I'll have funded a family holiday. The truth will out, don't abuse those who made a mistake when the inevitable happens support them in opening their eyes to the lies of a corrupt system. Corbyn will be replaced but there's a movement out there for social reform and change, 2019 wasn't the right time or back drop for it. Boris and his mob of Victorian 'plantation' puppets will be exposed. I was angry last night now I feel invigorated for the war ahead. Clive Lewis or Starmer for next leader
