First time visitor to the Den on Sat. Couple of questions for those who have been before:

    1. Will be in London bridge from about 1145. Presume generally safe if no colours . Any pubs to specifically go to or avoid?

    2. Booked on the 1833 from Kings X back to Leeds (Just clocked dirty Leeds are away at Fulham so interesting journey ahead) - do away fans generally get kept in for long at full time? Looks like last connecting train from S Bermondsey is the 1746 so assuming that should be ok?

    Ta people

London Bridge you should be fine - lots of pubs - Borough Market area great for food and pubs.
I've never been kept in - you'll make the train. Kings Cross might be fun though.

Should be fine at London Bridge.

The train from there short ride to ground, the train will have numerous Millwall fans on, i always keep my colours covered. Once off train you split from their fans almost immediately then walk to turnstiles feels safe as its only away fans around you

Earlier in the season I went down with a group of my mates to the Campbell and Lomachenko fight. Millwall were at home to Hull that day, we didnt know this at the time but our hotel was right near the Millwall ground so we drank in the Wetherspoons yards away from the den.

They all came in after and we just mingled with them all, we have Yorkshire accents so we could've been Hull fans for all they knew, had no trouble at all. From the experience I had i'd suggest that place would be safe enough mate. I'd even go as far saying they seemed normal and friendly.

Before the game London Bridge will be safe from Millwall fans as long as you avoid the knobheads we’ll be taking, as for the lunatics with knifes and bombs on the busiest day of the year around the borough market area/ shopping areas of London your guess is as good as mine, on one hand it’ll be absolutely wicked with plod, but on the other is that enough to stop them picking people off with a knife to the back if they’re he’ll bent on it, and if you avoid that area and go elsewhere, will the lunatics have done the same to stay away from plod. Kings cross maybe your best bet before hand for a drink but keep your wits about you wherever you end up.

After the game, the walk way directly outside the away end will be open, walk up that when you get to the platform turn right and walk right to the end, you’ll be one of the last out of the station at London Bridge but them end carriages are normally empty so you’ll get a seat and be away from the idiots and you’ll probably see me.

Barrowboy and Banker just outside Borough Market is usually good for a pre match pint and food, can get quite busy though. Bunch of Grapes (I think?) was full of Barnsley fans last time I was down to see us at Charlton.

All good advice cheers. Seems fairly easy to keep out of bother then if you don't go looking for it. Which we certainly won't be.

Great days art at millwall, bin a few times nar, and always had a great time. I wouldnt say their reight friendly in the pubs around the ground, but i've nivver had a problem, its like ought else, act like a human get tret like one. Police will probably recommend George. but to be honest half a dozen rarndabart george, cant remember names though. South Bemonndsey abart 10 mins away if that and a straight walk in. I dunt sit in away ends, so i dunt know if they hold ya back or not, but i think they do. We usuall sit in Dockers end. Behave thi sen and im sure thar gunna av a gud day. C.O.Y.R.

Should have no problems at all at london bridge, mainly full of tourists. Last time out we ventured further south well into millwall territory at Surrey Quays and had no problem at all. Didn't get 'held in' at all after match, train station only a couple of minutes walk.

Bang on. The number of away days ruined by our own fans I've lost count. Away at Luton one of the lads I was with was on first name terms with South Yorkshire police not through being in bother, just friendly. Ushered straight to the **** hole near the ground. Ruined the day. Herded through the street away at West Ham and Doncaster too because of idiots. Chesterfield at Saltergate twice. Away at Grimsby stuck in Leaking Boot. Huddersfield away straight on a double decker bus down to ground.

Never been to the Den but i'd go on my own if I did.
