Not taken notice of how he's got on in Scotland but Alan Nixon today is saying he wants to move back south and Bolton are making a bargain bid for him.
I had nothing against him, seemed like a decent pro, but I reckon he’d be way more out of his depth than the current incumbents. Probably better from set pieces but his lack of pace would be constantly exposed in the Championship.
He's a decent centre half, big and strong, who has got himself fit, he's also a good team man, this will enable him to move from club to club without actually playing and picking up signing on fees. He's a typical journeyman footballer picking up a wage for doing naff all.
Bit harsh. He’s 25 and only made two permanent moves in his career. I rated him, but he’s probably too slow and not comfortable enough on the ball to play in the Championship. League One is his level.
I can't blame the bloke for picking up wages whilst warming his arse for the last 8 years at various clubs. He's not good enough, that's the reality.
Up until his injury he was arguably our best player. He wasn't the quickest mover but he certainly was the quickest thinker. A good communicator and organiser which is just what we're currently missing.
Jackson would be fine in most sides but not in one that wants to play out from the back like we do. He’d look more uncomfortable than Diaby & Anderson
rated Adam very good on the ball. I put i him ahead of anything we've got at the moment. Could be a good pairing with bambo.
I thought they did make him an offer, but because he wasn't getting any game time, he wanted to leave after his contact was up. He really seemed to pick up a couple of seasons ago, but then got unlucky not getting any time with the Lindsay/Pinnock pairing. Decent footballer after a rocky start, then got unlucky.
