Alright for season pass holders working out at around 15 quid a game as 36 is way too much. Hope we have managed to sort it so we can sell the whole of the West stand as demand will be there even at those silly prices.
I don’t. I remember the fixture at their place when they stalled and stalled to give us the amount we wanted. I hope we give them as little as possible.
15 quid against Birmingham. Was 20 against WBA. Been cheap at quite a few actually. Reciprocal pricing. Wednesday and Leeds refuse to even discuss it, is what the box office told me. It’s averaged about 23 quid to get in this season so far.
It’s disgusting by both clubs. I hate the fact that anyone can charge these prices for a football match in the second division. I would’ve loved to see us charge normal prices but only give them what they gave us. Leave half the north stand empty, like they left half of Leppings Lane!
Too much for me, voting against not going to this or Leeds away. It’ll carry on as long as they make brass out of it.
If we used a stewarding company who could deal with trouble properly and grew some backbone with the safety ADVISORY panel instead of rolling over then those 1500 empty seats in the north stand would mean that the same income could be generated without screwing over supporters. It's easy to charge high prices when you are a millionaire. Much harder to pay them when you're on minimum wage
Reciprocal pricing is nonsense to me. Wednesday over charge their own fans so we will punish our own.
I’m surprised we havnt done a deal for our fans whereas buy the derby ticket and get the next home game at a vastly reduced rate or similar .
That would have been a great idea. Or two tickets for £40 quid and you can pick whichever game you like for the 2nd one.
we say it every year, it’s a simple and easy way around getting charged the earth at Leeds and Wednesday. the club does f all about it however except see our own fans off in revenge!
https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2020/january/owls-to-receive-additional-barnsley-tickets/ Just give them the full stand so we can rip them off one last time before we drop a league.
The average price is irrelevant really. No-one goes to EVERY game and pays match by match. The three I've been able to go to have all been £28 and I'm now faced with a £36 one.
Correct; there are ways around the reciprocal pricing policy so our fans don't get stung just because of the ridiculous pricing that Wednesday charge. I don't know why we don't give a bit of thought to it.
Because our owners don't care about the cash cows one bit. As long as they can trade in player stocks and shares that's their sole interest.
