You couldn't make it up. Labour want to abolish the House of Lords but are happy to nominate their mates for a peerage. Talk about all pissing in the same pot.

I would have thought that Jezza has done this just to p**s Boris off.

    Nominate their mates?

    Bercow was a Tory.

He deserves to be put in the House of Lords like all the other speakers before him.

They should change the rules , instead of nominating a new one, they should name one to cull.

Pointless house anyway, should be scrapped. Just another on the gravy train IMO.

With the Tory Majority, anything that comes back from the Lords that they don't agree with amendment wise will simply be ignored.

He was the biggest anti-semitic figure in the country-until he lost the election and now we don't hear a squeak about it from the right wing Tory press.
    Job done, eh?

Probably, but if that was totally true Jezza would be PM. Just glad the country saw thru' him and gave him a body swerve.

Saw through what exactly ? You ll be telling me next that the 31 st of Jan is " Brexit day " when it very clearly isn't . I know Boris and chums have been drumming up the big day when it's a blatant lie but I'm sure you ve sussed that out already .

Of course they saw through him, transparency is of his qualities. But no, we prefer to be fed sh** and bent over a barrel by the old Etonian mafioso.

There was only Corbyn and his far left policies that could have made such a total **** up of the Election against such a buffoon in Johnson. There's only so far you can go with 'power to the people' protest politics. Anyway, like I said, they all piss in the same pot and the election result makes little difference to the man in the street.

Oh yeah, the last 10 years have made very little difference to the man on the street. Its now the man living on the street. The illusion that Corbyn has "power to the people/hard left" politics is ****** anyway. Well, actually slightly more left of centre IS extreme left in today's Thatcher on Steroids style Britain. So I'll give you that.
