The best part of it is that even though it was the clearest, easiest call a referee can ever have to make he still checked with VAR That's what's wrong with VAR. Not that it is getting offsides correct to the letter of the law but that every decision is being reviewed and the referee is just walking around the pitch being a mouthpiece for people in a room
They are using var and still need opinion , if it’s an opinion then it’s not needed it’s clear and obvious things it should be used for . If it needs an opinion then the referee only should look at the screen and decide . It’s another job fir the boys imo.
Man United would’ve been more apt to name as they’ve had more decisions via VAR go in their favour than Liverpool.
Is there a page for var stats anywhere? Or even better one which shows how many times VAR has given the wrong decision?
