    Michael Sollbauer has signed for Barnsley FC from Wolfsberger AC for an undisclosed fee, after agreeing a deal until 2022, subject to international clearance.

    Jokes, pleasantly surprised to see we've signed someone with the experience age brings - just hope he can transition to English football quickly.

    Experienced player in a position we are desperate for and already knows how to play Strubers tactics?

    I honestly can't see how anyone can be negative about this signing. Drop him straight in alongside Halme and let the lads finally learn off someone who's had time in the game.

    For me i dont think we need another centre back. The main problem was we always had two inexperienced, young centre backs together and no smart older heads to guide them. I think Halme alongside the new lad will be good enough for us now.

    The centre mid and striker i do agree with though, we need to get them in before the window shuts.

    Excellent news, don't know much about the lad but glad we've signed a player in a critical position that has cost us all season. I trust Struber with this one, how he's managed to get these owners to sign a mister is an achievement in itself.

    I would also love another CB to come in and stick Halme back in the defensive mid role.
