Did well last year for the Blades, they've got loads of forwards. Wilder says he's available for a loan deal at the minute and won't be on huge money if we subsidise a percentage. Why not?
It’d be a yes from me. Offers the physicality up front that we sometimes lack. Pointless discussion though as there isn’t a chance it would happen.
Have you heard if we’re close to anymore signings mate ? Or if anyone is leaving ? Worrying how little news there is !
I know that's a light hearted quip.. but he is actually 35 next month, so your not far off actually..
Last i heard was yesterday in terms of incomings saying time was running out for getting any deals completed. (read into that whatever you can) Woodrow Mowatt Chaplin and Brown will still be our players come Feb 1st
Certainly would, the people saying no have seen our striking options from the bench havent they?? We arent in a position to be picky, physical presence up front would give brown/Chaplin some help up there
Great signing in my opinion. Certainly not the future, and might 90 regularly play full 90mins. But ticks lots of boxes e.g. Experience. Proven at this level. Good goalscoring record. Tall and physical. Jason Scotland similar stage of his career when he joined and did a job for us. So thumbs up from me! Impact player and another option. Alternative could be Connor Wickham at Crystal palace. Signed a contract extension until 2021. Not featuring, not injured. A short term loan, and another quality player needing games and fitness.
Last i saw we've not got that much money left in the kitty and was relying on shifting some more of the "out of favour" players out before we could get anyone in.
Great call on Wickham......would take him all day long Bet ya whoever Clarke goes to if he plays against us he'll score....nailed on
Think we expected to shift out Cavare, Thiam and Pinillos. That’s not happened so we’ve no spare cash to bring anyone in. That’s how it’s starting to look anyway...
