    I wasn't the biggest fan of Cryne but he was conned by this set of co-owners. We will lose more money being relegated than what it would have cost to replace all the back 4 with a bit of quality.

    He was desperate to get his money back out of the club for his wife and son before he passed. He would have sold to the first one with a big enough cheque.

    The guy is not around to comment. I don't mind if that is what he was trying to do but it's speculation at best. Even if he wanted money out, I think his aim was to make sure he handed over to owners that wouldn't jeopardise the future solvency of the club (my speculation).

    Really so why sell to this shower. A few on here have done some digging and discovered plenty of evidence that this lot werent all they first appeared to be. Where was Crynes due diligence why weren't his advisers able to find out what a few fans have.

    Cryne wanted to retrieve the money he'd put into the club. Given his personal situation that's understandable. I'd have done the same. He also sold Stones and later Hourihane, Winnall and Bree. He did what suited his needs - again his prerogative. And he also handed our club over to this bunch of charlatans. Some like to wave the banner as though he was a saint in BFC history. He sure wasn't a villain, but perspective is required. And this bunch of owners have less buy-in.

    But others like Brentford and Middlesbrough did due diligence on them and told them to jog on, so it wasn't like there wasn't worries there
