That with some application and effort it is possible to make our defence weaker than it was in December.
That a team can look much better than it actually is, if the opposing team are sat back defending a two goal lead.
That you cannot rip a promotion winning side apart and replace it with inexperienced youth in a mesters league. But the owners already knew this I fear and are only interested in seeding and farming cheap young footballers with no particular great ability in order to hopefully be coached into better players to make a profit, regardless of league status. We may as well be a reserve team for a premier league side tbh under this lot.
The club have learned nothing , just repeating past mistakes hoping this time hey get lucky. They have already learned that the right marketing campaign based on affinity with town and blood will retain a core of lifers so they will continue with that and getting away with cheap substandard football for as long as they are allowed to. The they will sell up and move on. Myself on the other hand having given the benefit of the doubt more often than I should through wanting to believe the hype have now learned a lesson. This clubs lack of ambition and business model is always doomed for failure and Saturdays could be much more enjoyable without the cost time and frustration of following a club that really deep down doesn’t give a ****.
I've never aspired to being multi-lingual but I've learned that 'Sollbauer' in German means 'Matt Mills but worse' in English!
