    Just been looking at the list of free agents from this year , boy we look doomed getting something from there. Should have bought a good un in the transfer window

    On a serious note... there is no chance we will be bringing in anyone now otherwise we could have done it before transfer window closed and that includes fee agents. Sorry to say it but relegation is now nailed on IMHO. I wished it wasn't so but the summer sale of Pinnock, Moore etc was the writing on the wall. In fact the sale of Potts last January was the benchmark as to the ambition (or lack of it ) for the club I have watched for over 50 years.
    You never get better if you sell your best players applied back in 1968 and it still does now. Watch the vultures swoop during this summer at BFC (Bargains FC). This board are not interested in the club just hw to make a buck).

    I think the refusal of Pinillos , Cavare and Thiam to move out sealed the fate of any possible incomings . Board resigned to relegation I think before end of transfer window.

    Not quite sure how anyone can call relegation now. SO many points to play for.

    Even with the team we have now, we have outplayed many teams and ended up losing. So there is hope there.

    I won't be resigned to it until there are no longer enough points to play for.. at the moment we have plenty starting with saturday.

    This attitude of no hope will be passed on to the players.. Get behind em ffs.

    If we do not get 3 points on Saturday (and I know it's a big ask) we may as well keep the wages bill down, as we already need promotion form to stay up. Anything less than a win and our chances will be very slim indeed.

    Is this a prediction or just a hopeful punt?

    I'd be all over this kid like a rash if I was Dane/Strubes/Conman.

    200+ apps at CB in the Championship and he's only 29. He's gotta be worth 10-12k a week on a short term deal, surely.
