    I have been frisked many times at football. I don’t like it and sometimes ask if it’s necessary to include people of all ages.

    I don’t ever think of it as them touching my body though. It’s not like they ask you to unbutton your clothes and drop your trousers so they can ravish your bare flesh in a orgy of wanton lust.

    Not really. Some clubs just wave us through, one steward even frisked my mate / who’s blind.

    Do you think it’s necessary to search everyone going to a football match then?

    What age do you see people still being seen as potential trouble makers? 79, 80?

    Ok, let’s put it this way. What do you think the average age for people arrested or booted out of football matches.

    Do you think it’s nearer 20 or 54 which is my age?

    All I ask is that all stewards employ the same sensible approach and save themselves a bit of fannying about.

    So anybody that falls below the average age should just be waved through? Great system that. Next time I want a flare brought in, I’ll just put it in my grandad’s pocket.

    You sound like one of those that thinks only brown people should be checked at airports. (Not trying to say you are one of those people, but that’s only 1 step removed from what you’re advocating!)

    Why do people keep talking about airports? There isn't the same threat level at a second tier football game and the searches aren't looking for the same things.
