    I got a thump in the back on Sheffield Railway Station courtesy of SYP after attending a game at Bramall Lane. I was walking to the train carrying a coffee. I stopped to take a drink and got a wack in the back. I wrote to the CC to complain. The Copper said he was dealing with rowdy football fans. The Superintendent who interviewed me admitted SYP have issues with football fans. He told me he had been assaulted himself by one of his own force on the Station when he had been on a shopping trip with his wife.

    Problem is with police is they're all bullied at school social rejects so they buzz off bullying Joe Public.

    It's their revenge on society that didn't accept them.

    Wombwell I was not bringing Orgreave's up because it was easy to bring up in these discussions but just giving an example in which I was involved, I know how miners and their families were treated by the police fook me I'd 12 months of it. Getting back to this involvement this young man was assaulted with a wood or steel bar as I don't know what these truncheons are made of, it was completely out of order by this policeman maybe they have been instructed to treat every altercation as a terrorist attack who knows but isn't it astonishing that posters on here thinking the bobby was in order are let's say have right-wing views.

    Unfortunately Pr1cks like this ruin the reputation that then see every copper tarnished with the same brush... No doubt the pr1ck in question is one of a few in the force who carry that clever aggressive gene when dealing with every situation they come across that involves a member of the public.....
    Young lad needs to get himself a good solicitor...and sue South Yorkshire police for over reaction and endangering life... By this officers actions.... Name and shame the pr1ck... Not all coppers are bad

    Football referees, policemen, auditors. We’d be screwed without them and they serve an essential role but I can’t empathise with the type of absolute bellend that would actually want to be one.

    Why wouldn't you want to stop crime and help people live without the fear of crime? I can see why people might choose the police force.

    The biggest problem that I see is the lack of 'self policing', if they didn't close ranks on the bad apples and instead held each other to the high standards that they are supposed to reach for then they would be a lot more respected.

    I would imagine that SYP instructed a zero tolerance towards fans fighting and to use maximum force to quell any outbreaks immediately.
    That said they Policeman in this video has acted with excessive force and needs to be dealt with appropriately.
    Personally, if I was SYP I would discipline him, ‘re-educate’ him and send him back on duty.
