    There's no chance of the club hanging on to the saleable assets.They will want to make up the £6m of lost revenue enjoyed by Championship clubs. There does seem to be a growing gap between League 1 and the Championship. The top 2 from League 1 last season are the bottom 2 in the Championship. Rotherham seem to bounce between the 2 divisions.

    Squad is too big for League One so I’m not expecting any incoming.

    Transferring Woodrow out will fund our missing Championship revenue. Chaplin possibly sold too. Mowatt may go but I don’t see many interested teams on recent performances. Thiam, Cavare, Pinillos, McGeehan, Radlinger, Victor, Bahre, Miller, Green released.

    Oduor sold following summer to fund whatever the fk needs funding at the point. Possibly Conway’s fish tank.

    I would only keep Collins, Walton as back up, Halme, Ben Williams, Odour ,Mowatt, Brown, Woodrow, Chaplin and Simoes ! Struber needs to go thought he was okay but he’s clearly out of his depth and I hope the board **** off too

    I'm not totally convinced we'll see too many of our better players leave. Woodrow will be gone, that's a given for me. I can see Jacob Brown and Connor Chaplin attracting interest but I wouldn't say it's absolutely nailed on they'll go. I've assumed Mowatt would leave all season, but they way we're performing it wouldn't surprise me hugely if he ended up sticking around, depending on interest.
    Picking the team for next season's opener is like picking lottery numbers to be honest. I've got a feeling though it won't be as different to the current team as many would expect. Something like this would be what I'd expect...

    Collins

    J Williams Solbauer Halme Odour


    Thomas Styles Mowatt Ritzmaier/New Signing


    Chaplin Schmidt/New Striker

    Obviously the formation would depend on the manager. I assuming Brown will go, although it could easily be Chaplin who leaves, or both. Huge assumption that Mowatt might stick around. I'd wager that the owners will think the majority of this team will be fine at League One level. I'm not sure personally, top 10 side maybe, quite possibly mid-table or lower.
