We've played 4 competitive games on 29 February in our history, the last a 1-0 win against Charlton in 1992. The big coincidence is that we've played Reading before on this day, a 6-1 defeat in 1964. Scott Golbourne is the only Reds player I have found who was born on 29 February.

There may be others, as I flicked through the official history which was published in 2012. Some of the 19th century birth dates aren't recorded either.

So really he's only about 7 or 8 years old. Another 40 years and he'll be back on our spreadsheet.
