Fair point Helen. He's trained with the rest of the team week in and week out and perhaps with his possible lack of commitment shown both in training and on the occasions he has featured on match days, Struber made the decision to leave him out of the squad and ultimately to let him go out on loan. Whether or not Struber will accommodate him if he returns , remains to be seen.
Struber said about working indivdually with the players hen talking of a smaller squad, I worder if he has done this with Malik. I just think we need to be cautious about so called bad attitudes seeing as we can't see what goes off at the training ground.
I thought he was very poor after a great start against Fulham at home. So what I saw in the following games doesn't add up. Possibly the closer he gets to his court date the more he will start to worry and it will affect his performances for Hull. Either way I think we hold all the cards. May be worth sticking with him and giving him a chance to shine next season. Unless he gets put away for a stretch.
We had more points in the bank, plus I'm not sure our free fall was quite as dramatic as Hull's currently is. After selling Hourihane, and completing the January sales, we had wins at Rotheram, Villa and Blackburn, plus quite a few home draws. Never really felt we were in any danger that year. I'd be worried if I was a Hull fan now.
