LOL and before you all start.... it's just a jest . I am now in hiding in a deep deep cavern in the brecon beacons
I have to say I didn't normally care who was commentating i.e male or female, but I have to say that when one particular female is on "Match of the Day", I deliberately have to turn the sound down. In an attempt to build tension in what was a mediocre game ( Crystal Palace last Saturday), she stated to shout in what can be best described as a high pitched shriek. I didn't catch her name, but she annoys me more than Jonathan Pierce and that is saying something.
Mate you had better come to my cave in the Brecon Beacons.... Red Hellen and Fired will be out on their Nimbus 2000's searching for us.... I will send you sat nav details.
sorry , I will go to church and say 4 hail Mary's 3 Vera Lynes and a couple of Gracie Fields...... I repent Sir.
Surely not more annoying than Jonathan Pearce.. are you sure? Pearcey? That guy.. something very self-centred about that fella, makes me want to mute the telly. Always pulls the most random facts out of his box of tricks at the most bizarre moments, like he's in with all the players etc.
Why is so much of the ‘humour’ (using the term VERY loosely) on the BBS misogynistic? Half of the ‘made me laugh’ thread looks like something out of the 1950s. Thankfully we’ve moved past those times.
Uh!!?? So.....Irony for you is merely something that girders taste like and parody is a closed book? EDIT: Your post is a gross exaggeration in that "Half the humour" isn't even humour... I give you 'Terry and June', 'French and Saunders' and 'Miranda' to name only three.
Found out the name of the " shrieker". She's Robyn Cowen. Commentating on West Ham v Southampton on MOTD tonight. Not as shrill as last week, but still annoying. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p077mzdl
