I went to the Celtic v FC Copenhagen game last night. The match build up was just fantastic. There was a bit of a light show to music. I’d like to see something that at Oakwell. It would warm the crowd up nicely on a cold, rainy night.
It’s brilliant isn’t it? I went to the first game they introduced it against Leipzig last year and it just built up the atmosphere perfectly (not like it needs it there like) But that light show cost 1million to install allegedly so I doubt our owners would stretch that far. Plus I’m not sure it would work as well with the stadium at 50% capacity.
As a Scottish football fan, surely you wanted Celtic to progress and leapfrog Denmark in the rankings system? Opening up the doors for more European football and less silly qualifying rounds? Was with a couple of Rangers fans last night and they were fuming at Celtic messing it up.
Even I managed to admit in midweek that it probably wasn’t in my best interests to see a Boro equaliser. I fought those feelings for a long time though
It is all a bit childish but there we have it. We love our teams and dislike other side for whatever reasons. I have mine and you have yours. I now wait to celebrate Rangers getting pumped out of Europe.
Man City used to switch off the lights a few years ago and put blue moon on, Sheff U did summat similar. We'd fecking moan though, lve come to watch a bloody match or summat..
