    Darren Barnard is one of many ex-players who become genuine Barnsley supporters after they finishing playing and very much take the club to heart. I love it when he refers to us as “us” when he does the commentaries.

    Let’s hope tomorrow is a great day for all concerned!

    Barney was one of my favourite Reds players ever. Really felt for the lad when he missed the penalty
    at Wembley in the play off final against Ipswich. He was absolutely gutted. Have to say, his crossfield
    Exocet in the 7-1 home win against Huddersfield, will live in the memory forever.
