Not sure we'd have "blown teams away" but our chances of staying up would have vastly impoved.

Hence the need to strengthen rather than weaken the team when you step up a division!

True, Brown hasn't netted enough but I think his overall contribution to the team is (usually) significant. I do wonder if the diamond makes the best of the positional talent we have. I'm still surprised that Bahre or Ritz get in the team ahead of Dougall. I'd like to see Dougall in front of the back 4 freeing up others

    Jacob Brown.

5th in the league in assists.

**** the diamond off and get him out wide.

Brown won’t be a striker whilst he has a hole in his ass sadly. He creates space for others by his pace on and off the ball but a striker he most definitely isn’t.

But we have strengthened in terms of goals.

We've two strikers on double figures in the league. Brown is poor in front of goal, but you can't fault his play besides that. He's played a vital part in nearly every single one of Chaplin's goals this season.

We lack goals from other areas of the pitch. Besides the odd few Halme scored at the beginning of the season, we've never looked like a threat from set pieces, and then we've players like Thomas and Bahre that rarely have an attempt on goal.

Our problem is our strikers , particularly Mowatt seem to think if they get to 25 yards, shoot
They never look to see if anyone is in a good position for scoring
Then it is goal kick and start all over again

Brown always leaves it too late and usually hits defender with cross
