Scientists told him NOT to do this at the beginning.
Other countries aren't doing this. Just because we hear the more sensationalist stories which are Italy, Spain and China, doesn't mean that's the approach adopted worldwide.

And to be honest who cares what journalists are telling him?

All I'm saying is you can take a horse to water you cant.make him drink the stuff. Over 65s got told to self isolate for 12 weeks ignored, dont gater in large numbers ignored, dont panic buy ignored. Plenty of stupid people in this country unfortunately. So in your opinion we should have locked down weeks ago?

Well theyve made huge political capital out of slaughtering Labour for financial mismanagement of the financial crisis (which is a lie) so maybe a bit of karma coming into play.

I don't for one minute envy them the position theyre in or see what else they could have done. But it'll be interesting to see the boot on the other foot for a change.

There will and the few that are will be dealt with .
99.9% of those going about their buisness as normal once instructed not to will obey it’s because it was advisory only that this happened .
Now the govt had decided to be responsible and instructed us to stay in only a very tiny minority will disobey for one reason or another and they’ll be ample police to tackle these few .

Whenever someone criticises Johnson, the stock answer seems to be "But....But.....Corbyn".

I don't give a toss about Corbyn at the minute. Our Prime Minister went for a tactic of doing nothing and aiming for a herd immunity, he then told us "the science changed" (whatever that means) and then he's seemingly now doing what the rest of Europe is doing. But it's too late.

He's so lucky that people are ignoring his 'advice'. It means that people are on the idiotic general public's case, rather than the idiotic Prime Minister.

Then they changed that advice the next day when the data was remodelled using the right virus as a base.

Didn't see it myself, but regarding the Governments recent dithering over concise guidelines
regarding the virus, Piers Morgan was very critical of the Government when Health Minister
Matt Hancock appeared on the ITV programme " Good morning Britain."
