Both my wife and myself are key workers. She's a ward sister in Sheffield, I'm an MRI Radiographer in Leeds. We're lucky in that our kids are old enough to look after themselves, eldest has just come home from Medical School in Birmingham, automatically goes into second year, my daughter would have been taking GCSE's.

Wife has x2 colleagues off with the virus, and I think one patient currently with it.

I'm based in private health, but all of our beds and equipment have been handed over for NHS patients as per the deal a couple of days ago. I've also offered any spare time I have to my old colleagues in Radiology at Barnsley if the need arises, they've got my number. Our scanning team is currently down to 2 out of 5 Clinical staff.

If there is a positive side to this, its been a real eye opener what can be achieved when the bureaucratic rule book is thrown to one side. Needs must and all that.

I know there are fellow supporters on here with health issues, have kids with health issues. Keep watch on them, heed the advice, and look after each other, it's going to be a long haul.

    Stay safe folks.

Self employed Plate Driver. Just got the nod there's no more jobs from now on. Knew it was coming like. 47 years old and going shelf stacking in ASDA.

I’m still working full time from home (typically before all this I would have done 1-2 days a week at home,

Everyone in the organisation above a certain salary level is being asked to ‘voluntarily’ take a 20% pay cut, so that comes into force from next week onwards.

The new infections in China (and South Korea/Japan) are mostly people entering the country and manifesting during the mandatory 14 day quarantine period. Community infections are low, and they are catching the new ones in quarantine. All flights into China are mandatory face masks, temperature checks and straight into quarantine in your own apartment (if it is suitable) or you have to pay for a suitable place if yours isn't.

George showed symptoms so i'm isolating with Laura. It's hard isolating but it has to be done.

I work as an Outpatient receptionist. So don't know what will be happening after 4th April. (When isolation ends).

Will I get Willy Wonker's golden ticket or be back on crowded public transport to and from work?

Risking me and my family again because we don't test for the virus.

I don't even know if i get paid with an isolation note?

Tim Martin's response, government not giving me any money so I'm not giving you any.....Get a job at Tesco.
Big business want their take before they'll even think of passing on any to employees by helping them apply for 80% assistance.
Sums up society at the minute.
Will the Tories dare condemn their donors for such behaviour?

Searched through the forum as ITV Calendar are looking for someone immunosuppressed in South Yorkshire who would be willing to talk to the news team about the requirement for masks ending soon. My email is peter.hampshire@itv.com. Tried to send a private message but don't think I have the right privileges on here. No worries if don't fancy it :)

Last thing we need to be doing is giving some of the ***** on this board national media coverage.

Haha, be an influx of BBS links on Calendar with me reading this messageboard before I come in. We found someone now, thank you and to those who bumped it as well :)

Hopefully they send me down to Oakwell as well some time soon to report on a historic third league win of the season...
