I dont wish the virus on anyone and it really isnt good that the Prime Minister has it. I dont like Boris at all but I do hope his symptoms remain mild and he makes a quick recovery. And that he doesnt pass it to his pregnant partner. And I have no problem with the Prime Minister being tested ahead of most others though I still think we should be testing front line nursing staff much more readily
I’ve seen lots of genuine support and signs of a caring society. I guess that what you see in society is a reflection of your own outlook. as for Boris , I mean him no ill will, he should have already come to realise that the very people his government have ignored, downtrodden and mistreated are keeping the country running. if he hasn’t realised that, then there’s nothing more society could do to help; and he should reap what he’s sown.
Exactly this. Do Nurses and Doctors deserve to be tested? Absolutely yes, 100%. Does the Prime Minister and Future King need to be tested? Yes. The fact of the matter is there’s 1 prime minister and very few prominent members of the royal family. It’s a lot easier to test those than 150,000 doctors and 320,000 nurses. Is that right? No. But it’s a logistical nightmare.
Plenty of caring people on here which is why im not taking a break from it but theres plenty of posters arguing the toss repeatedly about the same things without any consideration whatsoever for how that may impact on people. Its not as if anyone is going to change their minds anyway. All im asking is people think about what they say and how it may impact on others whilst we have cabin fever.
Whilst I agree with your sentiment, he's hardly bed-bound. He put out a short video this morning, and seems fine. Let's not get carried away here. All the best to him and everyone else in this difficult situation.
Now, Matt Hancock has also tested positive. In his position, Boris has been close to the Chancellor, Chief Science Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and various other ministers...
I ******* hate Johnson and all that he stands for - but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Perhaps his speech of March 9th when he smugly told us all he had been shaking hands with those suffering the virus wasn't very well thought through though.
Do you genuinely believe you are achieving anything whatsoever by constantly having a go at every opportunity? Even some of us labour supporters are sick to death of it now. We know what they have done, but repeatedly having a go isn't going to help anyone or change it. We should be sticking together not fuelling anger every 2 mins on here. Stop being so childish and selfish and change the record.
He is the Prime Minister tbf. Last thing we need is it swooping through the people running the country. Prince Charles on the other hand...
